How our Class Bundles Work
Bundles are collections of classes. Class bundles are designed to deepen learning on a variety of topics. At Reconstruction there are two types of bundles for you to experience.
1.Bundles of classes that can be taken in a specific order to build learning from one class to another
2.Bundles of classes that can be taken in any order you choose. Take one class after another based on your interests to deepen learning
What’s Being Taught in this class bundle?
Designed for young readers, this course builds awareness of sounds within words and sentences, as well as everyday sounds all around us. Through oral language games, students explore the relationship between letters and sounds and ultimately blend these sounds into syllables and words. Students will also learn the writing strokes to form the letters that make these sounds. With the introduction of some high-frequency words, students will begin to demonstrate their growth by reading decodable sentences.

About this class
Unit 1 - Sound processing is powerfully connected to learning how to read. Essentially, young children who can recognize and manipulate sounds in words are better-positioned for learning how to read. Through an exploration of Black music and dance, our shorties will groove their way through the uses of spoken words, syllables and sounds, setting a strong foundation for a lifetime of reading
